The Finance Rotation Program (FRP) is a two-year program comprised of four, 6-month rotations spread across finance. Analysts may select rotations from one of 100+ hosting teams, with the goal of the program being to gain a breadth of experiences throughout the two years. The program provides analysts with the skills and tools needed to be successful by offering abundant resources to continue learning including:
On the job financial modeling, data analysis, and machine learning
Learning from senior leaders in finance and business partnership across the company
Formal training opportunities comprised of program sponsored and self-directed learning
Upon completion of the program, analysts will transition to a new role at Microsoft, having a direct pipeline to becoming a Finance Manager.
Profil recherché
We are looking for early in career individuals from a range of backgrounds and universities excited about Microsoft finance. This is a brief list of the types of skills and qualifications we are looking for in interested candidates, both for full-time and internship opportunities:
One or more years of classroom and/or finance internship work experience in financial risk analysis with demonstrated analytical and problem-solving skills
SQL/R/Python or other programming/data science experience preferred
An understanding of fundamental finance and accounting acumen including data modeling, data analytics, FP&A, forecasting, interpreting financial statements, and reporting
Strong attention to detail and accuracy
